Feierwerk supports young art, music, and culture in Munich. Its guiding principle is to promote diverse cultural forms in their independence and dynamism, without dogma or ideology, while continuously embracing new impulses. It fosters a sense of belonging across age and generational boundaries.
The spectrum of young art includes a wide range of forms of expression such as painting, sculpture, photography, video art, digital art, graphic design, street art, and fashion design. Artistic practices connected to subculture and pop culture in particular find a platform here. The Farbenladen highlights that youth and pop culture are not expressed through music alone, but become visible in many different ways.
Access for the public is low threshold and as free of charge as possible, enabling a broad range of artists to present their work without economic pressure.
