Apartment of Art
“Apartment der Kunst” was founded in 2013 by the artist Lars Koepsel. It is a free, independent exhibition space for national and international artists and curators who can realize solo and group exhibitions there. It is located in the immediate vicinity of Haus der Kunst and is part of the art and museum district in the center of Munich. A key focus of the exhibition program, alongside the regular exhibitions, is a recurring series dedicated to contemporary Chinese art from Taiwan. As a non-profit art project, Apartment der Kunst brings together people from diverse backgrounds and seeks to enable artistic exchange between Munich and the international community.
